Jason Randolph is Founder and Portfolio Manager of Asymmetric Alpha Global Investors Inc. Mr. Randolph has twenty years of experience actively investing in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) sector. Prior to founding Asymmetric Alpha Global Investors, Mr. Randolph managed a discretionary TMT equity portfolios at Tudor Investment Corporation and UBS O'Connor LLC. While at UBS O'Connor, Mr. Randolph managed a beta-adjusted, market- neutral technology portfolio. Over his career, Mr. Randolph has excelled in challenging investing environments generating positive returns in all years of the dotcom bubble bust and the financial crises. During his stints at Tudor and UBS O'Connor Mr. Randolph hired and managed cohesive analyst investment teams, helped institutionalize and create new investment strategies and structured new investment funds.
John Randolph has 27 years of experience in management, operational leadership, and sales. Operational history includes exceeding profit targets in bull and bear markets. His management and marketing career with CBS, Fisher Communications and Crista Media spans roles from account executive to general management and operations. His broad experience enables recognition of growth and contraction indicators across a wide array of business sectors. In addition to domestic experience, John has worked closely with Canadian businesses. This experience contributes to expertise in mitigating challenges arising from cross-border business and differing regulatory environments. Identification and implementation of emerging technologies, and an understanding of predictive consumer response provide tech sector investment discernment.
